Jonathan has supervised the adjudication of nearly all USCIS form types and is therefore uniquely qualified to advise immigration practitioners on the processes USCIS officers follow to adjudicate applications and petitions. Mr. Micale can advise immigration practitioners on the types and sufficiency of evidence necessary to establish eligibility for specific immigration benefits.

During his tenure at USCIS, Jonathan was a recognized agency expert on the calculation of rates of adjudication and agency processing times. Jonathan can provide immigration practitioners with a deeper and more meaningful understanding of anticipated processing times for case types based upon his unique knowledge working with immigration data for 20+ years.
Immigration Case Tracking
At USCIS, Jonathan led teams to conduct immigration records contract oversight activities for three separate USCIS Service Centers. He understands the processes and procedures that are used to receive, data enter, ingest, and track immigration cases in USCIS computer systems as they make their way through the adjudication lifecycle. Jonathan can evaluate individual cases when they do not proceed through the adjudication lifecycle as anticipated and advise immigration practitioners on the best courses of action.
Review of Adverse Decisions
Jonathan developed many of the processes and procedures that USCIS officers adhere to when adjudicating cases for immigration benefits. During his tenure, Jonathan led numerous quality management and quality assurance teams that reviewed USCIS cases for decisional accuracy. When an unfavorable decision on a case is received, Mr. Micale can evaluate the decision and advise immigration practitioners on the likely reasons that the decision was issued, and the appropriate next steps to be taken.
